Portfolio

I have been working on my list of things I will be adding to my portfolio to include in my demo reel. I have narrowed it down to 9 projects that will be art produced all by me and graphics oriented. It is going to be a fast paced motion graphic reel created in After Effects and Maya.

1 Combination Mark Personal Animate mark transforming with multiple graphics
2 Race 4 Humanity TV Elaborate intro graphic based to show with an organic
style.
3 American Gangster Film DVD advertisement commercial with animated effects and
graphics. 3d model graphics and composites
4 Saw IV Film Short trailer, titles graphics, editing and digital visual
effects
5 Oceans 12 Film Comedy trailer flowing graphics, lots of color, cuts and
graphics
6 Dexter TV Coming up next graphics for tv show. Splatter blood
effects, short showing of scene
7 Showtime TV Commercial introducing shows on network
8 Discovery TV Shows on discovery with flashy graphics moving from
show to show, titles
9 The Incredibles Film Trailer with titles and cartoon style graphics to match
movie. Some character introductions

I have been doing alot of reference research and started storyboarding the process of how each project will play out.
It will be done in the next 11 weeks soin between those weeks I will be updating my blog with all my progress

Another worth 1000 contest

The objective was to take a celebrity and make them bald. I chose Adriana Lima where I photoshop painted a bald head onto her body. I still need to add texture and some more detail to it

First Lip Sync

We had to do a lip sync for my character animation class. He gave us a few clips to choose from a movie and we then had to animate each character to how we saw the scene played out. I used lots of video reference and poses to animate this. It needs work but I am happy with how it turned out for never animating a full scene with lip sync before.

I just finished up the digital image manipulation painting I did for worth1000. I did pretty good, I think I placed 14 out of the 48 in the advanced photoshop contest part. Tell me what you think and any critiques are good. thanks

YAY Art Contest

I entered a graphic contest with one of my art pieces. So far my art has done pretty well in it. People either vote your work yay or nay, then the judges determine whether your art will be one of the chosen pieces to be printed and sold. Go to www. yayart.net or www.yayart.net/vote/469/and vote. I found a lot of studios and motion graphic artist places that look very appealing to me for when I graduate and get out there in the working world, I put up links that might be helpful to the rest of you motion graphic artists and VFX designers.

I really can't wait to get out into this industry and working in my related field. there is just so much you can do these days with all of the programs and software now. I would love to learn it all and incorporate everything I learn into my art and work. I hope to be working for a major post production company one day and maybe even own my own.
